Job Summary :
As a Product catalog management Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing product listings on the e-commerce platform. Your role involves accurately entering product details, writing compelling descriptions, and ensuring high-quality product visuals. You will conduct regular quality checks, collaborate with product management and marketing teams, and stay updated with industry trends to keep the product catalog competitive. Additionally, you will address customer inquiries, support ongoing process improvements, and utilize Excel for data-related tasks while analyzing product performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Managing and maintaining the product catalog, including data entry and accuracy checks.
- Collaborating with product managers, vendors, and stakeholders to gather and update product data.
- Coordinating with the marketing team to ensure accurate product information and promotions.
- Categorizing and classifying products based on predefined attributes and maintaining consistency.
- Monitoring inventory levels and updating product availability information.
- Assisting with product documentation and providing support to customer inquiries.
- Staying updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Implementing best practices for product data management and process improvement.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and Engineering graduates are also preferred.
- Previous experience in product management, catalog management, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Experience with product information management (PIM) systems or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
